About UCD Buy

UCD Buy is a web-based purchasing system that facilitates the use of campus and UC System Strategic Sourcing Program agreements. The goal of UCD Buy is to become a one-stop shopping area for most university purchases. Current and future catalogs include office supplies, lab supplies, computers, and furniture.

Who Can Use UCD Buy?
UCD Buy is available to UC Davis employees with a campus login ID and Kerberos password. It is also available for approved affiliates of UC Davis.

How Does UCD Buy Work?

How does UCD Buy Relate to Strategic Sourcing?
UCD Buy is a tool that assists UCD in meeting each of the goals of strategic sourcing. It improves efficiency and significantly reduces overall cost by automating the ordering and invoice processes. Each of the vendors in UCD Buy offers high quality products at the lowest overall cost.
